Rogue Climate Landscapes
This series is developing from my personal experience living on a small granite island off the coast of New Hampshire. Our tiny community is experiencing very real consequences of climate charged tide and storm surges. I grew up with sailors and conservationists
and their hyper awareness of the sea is a revelation for me. The interaction between the rogue water and the crumbling man-made artifacts - the surge and energy in contrast with the regularly geometric - stationary shapes - explores my ideas about the unhumaness vs human concerns and the pressing necessity to acknowledge the concerns.
