This is an example of one of my favorite kinds of flowers paintings...so many colors and sizes and types of flowers filling up the entire painting... the flowers are depicted somewhat realistically but they dissolve into a riot of colorful pattern when I step back. There was no drawing to begin this painting, just fresh color splashed across wet watercolor paper.
